Rain or shine! BarGolf is ON!

BarGolf is a new activity for bars and breweries patrons that combines two entertaining and interactive experiences: minigolf and bar crawls. The BarGolf team is piloting this concept in partnership with TomTom, Champion Brewery, South Street, Fitzroy, and Passiflora in Downtown Charlottesville.

Don your best golf outfit, gather your fellow players, and take to the Downtown Mall to play a 4-hole round of minigolf at one of our favorite local spots! Come join us at Champion from 2-4pm to experience the BarGolf concept - there will be plenty of prizes, competition, and fun for all. See you on the green!

Created by locals PJ Harris, Logan Hutchinson, and David Cano-Mejia, the portable greens allow any bar or brewery to be converted into a mini-golf hole. The goal is to be a catalyst to drive more patrons to support their favorite breweries, restaurants, and bars by transforming the Downtown Mall into a walkable mini-golf course.

David has been in charge of the design and construction of the BarGolf minigolf holes. David has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and six years of experience in mechanical design.
