Retired family physician founder of Downtown Family Health Care, previously worked in Eastern NC, in Bertie County, previously masters in public health.
Besides family medicine, he has taught UVA medical students for thirty years and has been a part of many boards and foundations. Overseas has done more than 60 short-term trips mostly to Honduras and Haiti where a foundation continues to work with a school and a neighborhood in Port au Prince. Married to Kathy Clark-Gelburd, OD, father of five daughters.
