Yolonda Coles Jones, also known as "The Calm & Thrive Coach", is an international Healing, Wellness & Empowerment-Centered Coach and Consultant who specializes in teaching home, community and business leaders to deepen into attentive connection with themselves and with those around them. She guides and supports you in building confidence, developing clarity, realizing calm and implementing strategies for success. Her trademarked Empowered People formula utilizes a powerfully effective combination of mindful breathing & meditation, conscious communication, somatic (body) awareness, boundary awareness, forgiveness, gratitude, joy and whole-being care all as authentic-to-you and accessible ongoing practices.
Having studied at Piedmont College, Hampton University and The University of Virginia, in addition to her business acumen and degrees in Humanities and Social Sciences, she is a trained embodiment teacher, mediator, doula, spiritualist and performing artist. The scope of her professional work covers parenting relationships, parent-child/teacher-child dynamics, self-awareness, marriage and long-term partnerships, infidelity, conscious uncoupling, home-based education and self-actualization.
She resides in Albemarle County, VA where she is committed to liberation and thriving with her husband and partner in life, William Jones, III; their four children, Shiloh, Samari, William IV & Yosiah; and their cane corso pup, Eywa (AYE-wah). Yolonda founded The RESTORE Project in December of 2022 to serve the community that raised her and her blood predecessors. It is a mindfulness–based charitable endeavor to empower Black and Brown residents of The City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County to bring more calm, rest and quality attention into their own everyday lives so that they can last, Love well and live wisely.
